We count visits to this website so we can see how it is being used. The counting is done on our own systems rather than by an advertising network, and it does not use cookies or store anything on your device.

For each page view we record the page address, the website or search engine you arrived from, your device type and browser, the country the visit came from, and a short code that lets us tell one visit from another on the same day. That code is made by combining your IP address, your browser details and a random number that changes every day and is deleted the next day, so once a day has passed the records can no longer be connected to you or your device. Your IP address itself is never stored.

We keep these statistics for up to two years. We also use Vercel Analytics, provided by our hosting company, which counts visits in a similar way without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you. Our lawful basis for both is our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used and keeping it working properly.

This website has no booking or contact form. The availability grid shows free slots from our own diary and does not collect anything from you. If you ring or email us, we use your details to answer you and to arrange any session you go on to book, and we keep them for as long as we are dealing with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Our website is built and hosted for us by Jefferis Software Solutions. As with any website, the servers keep short-term technical logs, which can include IP addresses, so that faults and abuse can be investigated. These logs are held by our hosting provider for a short period and are not used to identify visitors.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. It is handled by the suppliers who run this website and our email for us, and it is disclosed further only where the law requires it.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we are using it. Write to info@ivyarchstudios.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
